Light Jacket Alert, South Florida

There's a light jacket alert here today in Ft. Lauderdale. It's 73 here currently with a forecast high only 81. So for those of you who are interested in riding today you may want to take a light jacket.

It's great here, we're sailing for the south Caribbean this afternoon, hopefully there's "better" weather there.

I went out yesterday, high of 83, I decided to show how tuff I am and just wore a T-shirt under my life jacket. It wasn't easy but I handled it without complaint, I did get splashed a little, and dam, it was difficult to keep going after that ! I had to soak in the tub for 20 minutes after getting home to get my ballz to descend again... poor little guys were hiding !

We got some freak weather here yesterday. It was almost 70 !!!!!!!!!!

Well we're back in south Florida, going back home tomorrow. All indications are the light jacket alert has been lifted here.

We cruised on the Ruby Princess to the Virgin Islands, actually Chuck Norris visited there last year an now they're just know as "The Islands". We had a great time, I rented a Yamaha Waverunner in St. Martin, that thing was like driving a truck. It did top out at 80 kph faster than I expected. It wasn't a SeaDoo but better than nothing.
