Lets talk tubes....

So i'm new to owning a boat (had a few skis though) and want to get prepped to do some tubing in my 99 Speedster SK. I've been watching these videos about the kite tubes but they look a bit dangerous and seem to be outlawed. I've also watched videos where one person is on a larger (2 person maybe) tube that is circular and was able to fly it just a couple feet off the water. Basically i'm looking for ideas on a good tube that my boat wont have an issue pulling yet I might be able to get a little bit of air. I would also like some input on the proper rigging I need. I assume if I buy a ski rope with a handle on the end that wont cut it. Is there special rope I need just for tubing? Again i'm new to this so any info would be much appreciated!

Your boat will pull all of them. I have a sportstuff speedzone 2 person tube. It's great, you sit down inside it not just laying on it and holding on. I've had 2 guys weighing like 250 each in it no problem. Regardless of the tube you choose, look into a tow rope called the booster ball. It's awesome, it's a nice rope with a big inflatable ball in the middle, it keeps the rope off the water so it's not splashing people. Also make sure to only pull tubes on the lower ski hook, not the pylon that pops up.

You would eventually bend it or cause more damage. Tubing puts way too much drag on the boat and that little tube. It's meant for skiing, where there is a lot less resistance.
