I learned the hard way towing our boat 5hrs home that these cushions can easily fly out. We removed the "loose" ones before we left, but apparently we missed one. The center, upper-middle pad is somewhere between Arab, AL and Hattiesburg, MS. I've found them for $236 shipped... ouch. Needles to say we need a good boat cover that we can tow with and utilize for storage of course. What are your suggestions... that are affordable?

I guess the poppy covers should do the job for towing, not just any cover can take that kind of abuse, the prices seem reasonable, and they're a custom made fit for the seadoos. I use a net for stuff like that, such as hauling junk to the dump for example, I have a few different nets and my favorite is a military cargo net.

I still have the factory cover for my boat b/c I don't tow with it on, and it's kept out of the weather anyway. The cover keeps the interior clean during winter storage. Lots of people get their boats shrink-wrapped every fall at the Marina, as well.

Hauling your boat in the rain will be amazingly messy, especially if the interior isn't covered.

The poppies should not be overlooked!

Poppy covers. Period the end. No need to look further. I have used one to tow back & forth from NY to FL several times. Very good product. Only issue I have had is that I had to lengthen the poles a few inches, likely because it stretched a little.

Poppy covers. Love mine and it's a cheap investment. I use mine at the dock. Not ideal. It's keep the rain out. They use a belt buckle system that secures the cover around the boat. Very impressive. Shipping is fast with them. I think they even a slight discount for members of this board.

Yep..Poppy is the only choice. They make a superior product by far. I had the oem sea doo cover on my 98 when i got it...coming from PA to KY it got trashed. I bopught a Poppy and put a few thousand miles on it and it looked new when i sold the boat. My 04 was bought in TX, I had the cover shipped there. The boat was towed 1500 miles and the cover still looked new when it got here. The way they make it fit around the tower is perfect. Not only is it a good cover, but the people are great. When you call, you will probably talk to Terri...she is awesome to deal with. They ship out of Indiana, so you will have it in a couple days.

Yep Terri will hook you up!

Well... my wife registered the boat to us today. I paid cash for the boat to avoid paying the full tax (gotta cut somewhere every now and then) however, little honest Abe gave them the full price paid. This ontop of the lost seat, and cavitation issues is frustrating.... welcome to the boat world!... first world problems.. hahaha. Chits getting pricey.
