Legnth of Tubing rope?

I've got a 60ft rope, but we are getting some getting sprayed pretty bad by the jet wash. Would going to 75ft help? What could be some of the negatives about going longer?

I had the same problem with my Islandia. I added another 10' of rope to the line and seem to have no more problems.

I skied behind by XP with 60' and had the same problems. If I ever ski behind it again, I will add all the chunks of rope that came with the handle. I think it is 75'.
