has anyone been able to replace the inboard courtesy bulbs for LED? like a straight replacement? or did it require new housing etc...? in any case, what did you buy? where? cost? thanks!
I used a razor blade to get under mine. Once lifted up enough, I used a screw driver to pop the rest of it off. I put a piece of thin plastic packaging between the boat and the blade to protect the finish.
Bottom side of mine has a little screw driver slot to pry the cover off. Ordered the same LED lights provided in Kernal's links and hope to have them in by this weekend
Got the LEDs in and they worked well. Thanks for the recommendation Kernal.
Also ended up doing my cockpit gauges (different LEDs) except for the fuel gauge as that one looks like it has to be taken apart to replace the bulb.
Lights are a bright blue although they may appear to be more dark blue or purplish in the pixs.
