Leaving for Challenger 180

We're back...........And still boat-less!
While the boat looked good, I gave the wear ring and impeller a look and they were nasty(gouged, dinged etc...), One trailer inner bearing grease seal was blow and the boat had some gelcoat gouges.
4 hours each way and came home empty handed....So goes the used boat search.
Back to the drawing board.

We saw the Sarasota boat a few weeks ago. It was trashed. The one in Jax is interesting but its an 06 :-( The one in Ft Myers came on my Radar earlier today. I will call on that one tomorrow. With 3 hours on the boat and with a 5 year warranty that looks interesting if its in new condition.
What I really want is an '08 or '09 still in shrinkwrap.

At this point I'd see if you could get them to knock $1k off the Ft Meyers boat and call it done. Its basically a brand new boat and has great warranty. Not going to find much better than that for the money. Well maybe just a little less for more hours but this way your getting a brand new boat.

Anyone knows if Seadoo dealer is stocking boats?
Craig found this out this afternoon. Apparently, they have another 08 that they just took the wrap off. I think Craig might make an offer on it....

Guys,
The Ft Myers boat at $16,999(demo) was sold last week. They have two other '08s but they want $20,500 OTD. Again these are regular 180's(not SE). I may offer $19,000 OTD today.
In the meantime, I got a call from Smith powersports in NC(This is where some of us on this forum bought our boats in the past). They are offering a 2009 180(again regular) for a fair price. I will speak with fred again Thursday to get particulars and pictures. Stay tuned.
