Hi guys, first post here!

Just got my first ever jetski,
1998LTD XP and i took it out on the weekend and i found that it had a fair bit of water in it when i drained the ski after i got it back onto the trailer. This is my first ski so im not sure if XP's are known to take in a lot of water or not so a bit of feedback on your ski's will be helpful to see if i should look into it a bit more. Id estimate under 2 litres of water was in it when i drained it.

Also this ski i purchased only has 85 hours on it and had a rebuild at 80 hours, the guy i purchased it off said he only used it for under 10 hours because of a lack of time. The reason for the rebuild was the bloke that had it before him flipped the ski and turned it the wrong way and got water in the engine so it got rebuilt.

Now when i took it out i found it to be really sluggish i have used a mates XP before and i was riding with a mate who has a Yamaha WaveRunner 125hp and he was blowing me away. I was getting speeds of 60km/h on slightly choppy waters. Is this bad!!!!!

Cheers Brendon
