Does any one know how can i leak test my engine without the seadoo leak test kit, I have a hard starting problem and have checked check valve reeds carbs but have not performed a engine leak test i was hoping someone know how to make a diy one

i'd think, you'd have to stuff the exhaust, not so much intake, since the "reeds" close it, RAVES will keep that part closed, and pump from the pulse fitting. Maybe 10-15psi, and wait for 10-20 sec....?

Air will still get past the reeds. You have to plug the exhaust and the intake. The book recommends 5 PSI for 3 minutes but I always test at 10 PSI. I do not advise going over 10 PSI.

Use pieces of rubber between the carbs & intake manifold, also between the exhaust manifold and headpipe.

according to the manual it states you must also block off your rave valves, just what they say I really have no clue.
