LCD display - polarization film replacement

The LCD display in my 2004 GTX is finally beginning to burn out on one side and I need to replace the polarization film.

1. I'm looking for recommendations on a brand name from others that have been through this repair with reliable results.
2. Also, what is the best way to join the top and bottom halves back together after the repair?
