I have the same broken lock as you. I over stuffed the compartment and when I went to open it I had to use force. I did a research on the latch and found that they come in different thickness and diameters if I am not mistaken. Measure yours to be sure of a proper fit. This is what I found at west marine. I will spend the few extra dollars on stainless steel hopeing to never have a problem again :cheers:
