Latch for front storage lid on 2009 150 speedster

Anyone know where to buy a new latch for the front storage lid?
OEM is $138 and junk plastic.

I don't have access to the boat right now but isn't it pretty much a standard push button glove box latch like this:

Just without the little thumb pull on it. I think that comes off and it can be installed without it.

Most of the boat hardware like latches are universal and you should be able to find many places online that sell a replacement that will work. The latch in question is generally referred to as a "push button slam latch".

There are obviously many more places that sell these type of latches, and you can probably find a better quality one made of metal. If you do find a direct replacement be sure to post back and let us know what part worked as the rest of us may need one to in the future.

By the way I enjoyed your boat videos, all the mods you did to your boat it sounds awesome! What kind of top speed are you enjoying?
