Land Start 95 Seadoo XP

i just finished getting the parts needed for this boat and wanted to start it with a hose. anybody point me towards a 'how to' thread?

Start the engine first and then turn on the water about 15 sec later. When your ready to shut her down, turn the water off first and then wait about 15 secs to turn the ski off.

i recognize this must be a silly question but where do you connect the garden hose? please be kind, first time boat owner

There should be an inline connection coming off the back of the cylinder head which is one of the cooling hoses.. If its the stock connection, you should have an adapter that plugs in. If someone installed an aftermarket like I have, just remove the cap and connect the hose to it.

If I remember correctly, you need to turn the fuel off before turning off the water. Then while it is dieing from lack of fuel, turn off the water. Not familiar with your model. So I can't tell you where your connection is. On mine, it is in the back by the pump/impeller housing.

i understand if youre not flushing you can start for short periods of time without water. is that true?
