krylon fusion paint mistake. Now what?

I took some of the plastic off of my Seadoo boat to paint and after prepping it by light sanding and mineral spirits, I painted the steering wheel center plastic with krylon fusion spray paint, which came out fine. I also tried painting one of the rubbery grab handles, but it is still tacky. There is the mistake. I should have used vinyl paint. Here's the question: How do I now prep this sticky surface? It has been 24 hours since the first coat. Do I just paint over the krylon fusion paint with vinyl paint, or try to somehow take that fusion paint off? Thanks.

Yep... Vinyl will "out gas" for years. That out gassing will keep paint from bonding, or curing.

Unfortunately... I'm not sure what you are going to strip it with. BUT... I would not try to paint over it.
