I just wanted to give a shout out to Nick at Westside powersports. http://www.westsidepowersports.com/ I called him on Labor Day after losing my only DESS key! He answered and was super helpful. He even answered several of my self described "annoying" texts through out the evening.
We worked out a plan to have him program 2 new keys and send my a used DESS post. I paid for overnight shipping both ways, and sent him the MPEM on Tuesday. On Wed he received the MPEM programmed both keys and had it back to FED-EX the same afternoon! I received my package on Thursday and everything works great!. I did not miss a weekend on the lake and the new keys seem to be a bit more rugged then the OEM. I also have not had the ignition cut out mid ride with the new key, so I suspect the old key was faulty anyway. I still have the DESS post Nick sent me just in case.
From my experience Nick was a weekend Savior! As I only have a few more weekends in NH to enjoy the boat Nick made it so much easier to replace my key. Bringing my whole boat to a dealership that is several hours away was not an ideal situation. I am glad that Nick figured out how to do this without the Boat in hand.
