Keeping the seal cool when running out of water

I have a 2009 Speedster with 4TEC (non supercharged)
I want to run the boat for SEVERAL minutes to warm up the oil for an oil change.
I have the hose adapter to flush the exhaust jacket.
But I understand there is a seal (drive line?) that can't be out of water for longer than just a few minutes.

My great idea is to spary the seal with a sprinkler or nozzle so I can run the engine longer.
But I am not sure even where the seal is, or if a sprinkler or hose will be sufficient.

Is there any way to keep this thing cool while on the trailer?

I have seen dealers put water in the hull to a level above the seal but not so high to her to the electronics.

I was thinking that the seal must get its cooling water from under the boat where jet propulsion unit is. I was going to spray water up in there. Water in the hull would be simple enough too.

Couldn't hurt any to spray from the bottom too.. Might be over-kill.. But I'd rather be safe than sorry..

I just use a jet stream setting on my hose and spray the front of the shaft through the grate every minute or so. No issues yet.
