Kanaflex alternative?

Hi everyone,

Doing a bunch of stuff to my ski over the winter, an intake is on the list.

The DIY kanaflex kits for sale are a bit expensive for what they are... but here in Canada I can only find the hose for like $37 CAD a foot which makes the kits look cheap lol.

So I'm trying to figure out, what exactly is the type of hose as kanaflex is a brand. Is it like wire reinforced ducting used for shop dust collectors?

Just looking to find a similar product locally that isn't stupid expensive.

So despite no replies i looked into various options. Really any 4" flexible tubing would serve the purpose but my only real concern was chemical resistance. I'm not sure if the TOPS valve puts oily air into the intake or if it's scavenging air. Either way i couldn't really find anything i liked that would have any long term chemical resistance.

As mentioned before I'm from Canada, and I found a company by accident called minijet. They sold their own jet-boat intake kits that came with a length of Kanaflex tubing. I emailed and asked if they'd sell me a 10' length and they did, for a good price. They were in the same province as me, shipped it same day and i had it the next.

I was left with 5' after the install so i didn't need as much as i ordered but oh well.

I designed and 3D printed adapters for the supercharger 3" to 4" with a velocity stack and also an air filter adapter with a barb for the TOPS valve.

I didn't take a pic of the SC adapter but it looks like the RIVA one.
