I'm converting my 93 580 GTX to K&N arrestors...got the carb adapters and arrestors installed. The problem is that both choke and throttle cables used the old square adapter and have no bracket for the throttle cable. No problem with the choke since I went with a primer type, but the throttle cable needs a bracket.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance...

Did you buy this "conversion Kit" from a dealer as a kit? If so it should have been included with all that was needed to convert it. I would contact the dealer who sold it to you and ask if he has or can get the proper bracket to fit with the rest of the conversion. If it is all from the same source than the parts will fit together. If you are making up the kit to convert well, you'll have to get creative. In that case give us a shout back and I'm sure someone will chime in on what they have done to make the throttle cable work.

I put the kit together so I'm going to have to get creative. I thought of dissecting the old square adapter to use the cable bracket from it. Then use something to bolt it to the engine...

I used to do the same on my standup Jetski's I'll look at the diagram in the shop manual and see if I can come up with some advice on mounting it...I would think it would be a simple thing to do. You just have to have a streight pull from the cable to the linkage, using the adjusting nuts on the cable housing end for a secure connection...
