I did a quick search and didn't come up with anything about installing lights on the boat.. I don't plan on using the Speedster that much at night but with July 4th coming up I thought it would be nice to go out in the river to watch some firework displays... I thought of just getting a handheld light but kind of sucks to make someone stuck holding it.. And to be honest I dont think I want to be drilling into my new boat lol.. But I was curious what you guys thought about doing something liek this kind of setup... I started thinking about it and remember those "Golights" that have options for wireless or wired remotes and whatnot.. I know they make the suction mounts or the permanent mounts.. I was thinking of maybe putting right in front of drivers compartment.. and being that you can move the light up/down/left/right/ I figured that you could have it face foward when not using and then once you need it position it however is best for the situation.. anway just wondering if anyone knows off hand if there is anything I would have to clear or problems with putting it in this spot.. I am 50/50 on just getting the suction mount or permanent mount.. Obviously install will look better if mounted permanently being that all wires would be hidden although at night who is going to see anythign lol..

I have thought about trying to mount some LED flood lights on the front. I think that woud work for you but they look kinda big and bulky. You can get some very small LED lights that are very bright if you search around. I would also be concerned h ow much it takes to power those.

Yea idk.. I think if you get the the portable version it comes with a cigarette lighter adaparter style plug which i think the speedsters have 2 recepticles or whatever.. they make a 12 and 24 volt version.. but i have been considering getting a second battery once i get the boat just to be safe even though i dont think i should have any kind of batter issues for a while.. but hey you never know..

http://www.oznium.com/marine-led-spotlight here is the site i got them from very cheap and works great!! This is my 2nd boat having them installed on and i never had a problem with them.

I have several led lights mounted to the back of my 2010 sea doo challenger. I have 2 flood lights and 2 spot lights under the back water line 2 on both sides of the jet pump. and 3 super flux 4chip lights in the back off the swim deck. The boat looks great crusing across the water all lighted up. I have the green color. It is also great when you are parked at nigth because you can be seen from all over and the kids love the way the water looks when they are swimming around in it after nigth fall. Also i dont notice really any difference in my battery performace with the 7 lights i have installed now. I usually have these 7 lights plus the white light and the 2 bow ligth and radio going at the same time and i only have one battery right now. I usually will leave them on for like 30-40min then start the boat for 2-3min and let it idle and charge the battery back up and i haven't had any problems with it. After the forth i am going to get Some more lights installed in the front of the boat but white this time. The new lights will be more designed as head lights just for the purpose mentioned head lights at night. Because me my 2 sons and wife are no stranger to being out on the lake at the sand bar with friends and family at 11pm or midnight. I will post some pics on here of the current ones i have and also some of the new ones in the next week or 2 after i get them installed.

Oznium had great lights cheap. I bought 10 of the Supeflux and put 7 inside the boat. So, I got 3 to play with still. I would like to see where you mounted them on the swim platform if you could post up a pic.
