Just bought a 2001 Challenger 15, Quick question.

Hello all,
I just purchased the boat above, it is in literally new condition and was well cared for. I bought it for our small lake and haven't had it I the water yet. Anyway yet previous owner told me that the loop between SEA and DOO on the rear of the boat was only for transport and should never be used for towing a kneeboard, tube etc.. This seems unlikely as the 2001 has a loop and my buddies 1997 has an actual tow hook in the same position. I am wondering if he is correct or not. I have searched the web and cannot find an answer to my ? Please advise if you can.

Part 14 is the post for tubing tow rope. It is not at the end of the boat. It is just behind the back seat.

Thanks for the response. So is the loop on the back for towing as well then?

You might want to verify that with the owners manual. The post is for skiing on my boat, the hook for tubing.
