bought it a week ago, took it out and it ran good, these things are really fun, but noticed a good quart of water out of the drain plug when done. Inspected hull today and noticed a 4' long crack with the gel coat chipped away and water dripping from it. It's on one edge of the very bottom flat part of the hull. My guess is it froze with a belly full of water. Is this repairable?

Hi, and welcome to the Seadoo forum.

Yes, it's repairable, actually I have a similar repair to do on my 96GTI this winter. With a little patience and time it can be a do it yourself job. You will need to remove all the fluids, turn the boat upside down. Remove the gel cote in the effected area, lay in some fiberglass cloth and liquid resin, the replace the gel cote. Lots of videos on YouTube.

Depending on how good a job you want you may want to take it to a professional, my 96GTI I'm to so particular, I'm more interested in function than form, so I'm going to do it myself.

Two things,,, I USE to live in Ohio, 43 years worth.

And secondly, I looked it up and it seems that winter does still actually exist. Somewhere up north from what I read...
