jetpump oil

Hi im from norway

Im just finish with cangeing the wear ring and impeller on my xpdi.

I refild the house with new jetpump oil, i had just under a half bottel of oil left so i did't have enouth to refil the pump.
iI orded more form usa sinc it hard to get this oil i norway.

It's sunny today so i whant to try out my new impeller and wear ring to se how it go. but can i use the jetski when it's not full with jetpump oil?
it will be 2 week before i recive mor oil, and then i can put on the rest that's missing.

I would not recommend it - and that's not just because that is what the book says.

There is so little oil in the jet pump anyway when it is full. So running without the full amount could be very destructive.

So far away from the name brand stuff, you may find it to your benefit to see if you can find a GL5 Synthetic Polyol esther oil, 75w-90weight. It's the same stuff.
