Hello everyone!! just an update on our seadoo xpi ski! bought it in november had had an engine rebuild but when we got it home it would not run in the water to well
compression check done and it was 125 have been in touch with a jet ski workshop they say new pistons!and compression is to low! :( i am just not sure what to do with this ski now a price of 500 was mentioned to start with sorting it out
and i just cannot believe that it is that bad as it does run in the water but has no guts! i bought this as a pressie for my husband and i just want to use it for a bonfire :reddevil:we dont know anything about jet skis and just dont know what to do next any help would be very welcome oh yes hubby put new spark splugs in it and it started straight away :hurray: but that was never a problem

carbs...

Sorry to hear the probs, welly. That compression somewhat low for rebuilt motor, but the compression is good though. Next, think the carbs and fuel system needs some lov'n...

:) hi thanks for the help i have bought huby a sea doo manual so guess can have a look at that he is a good mechanic cars lorrys etc but jet skis are new to him fuel line to my knowledge is working ok and carbs well :ack:
is it worth him trying it or just putting it into s garage for a couple of hours and see what they say it is :(

oops sorry i am NOT saying that everyone on here does not know what they are talking about when i said put the ski into a garage and see what they say just frustrated with it all and just want it running for my lovely huby :hurray:

By "seadoo xpi" do you mean the 1994 Seadoo Model XPi, which is a kinda rare boat? If so, it is probably a white ski with some green and pink decals. This can help me get started in helping you out with your problem.
