I removed both of my jet pumps on my 1996 Speedster that I recently purchased and noticed that there wasn't a rtv or neoprene seal at the pump/hull interface. I would assume this needs to be sealed somehow, am I correct?
I assume its best to have a seal but oddly enough I just removed my pump on my 1999 SK and there was no seal. It was not cavitating at all but I thought it was odd that there was no seal and no cavitation. Either way, I am putting a new neoprene seal on.
