jet pump question

Does anyone know if its ok to run this with the small fins missing...really don't want to change this now probably do it this winter.
Going to do a new impeller and wear ring.

Yes its fine, and you can grind them smooth if you would like, many people do.

The concensus is that you need to use something to competely remove the remaining fin bits and smooth the intake area. Do not be too aggressive with whatever you use.
