I have the jet pumps and drive shafts/seals, etc removed from my 1996 Speedster. I have OEM bellows and carbon seals already (current carbon seals are shot). I'm ordering the OSD heavy duty stainless steel hats, OEM wear rings, OSD fuel float, and a few other odds and ends. It looks like the impeller rings and boots on the driveshafts are a bit worn, so I'll grab those too.

First question is am I ok to use Royal Purple Max Gear synthetic 75-90 gear oil in the jet pumps? Just asking because I have a couple brand new quarts of it already, and it says it meets GL4 and GL5 performance standards and is good for marine applications too.

Second question, is there anything else I should look at replacing while I'm doing all of this? Fuel lines are ok. Maybe I should look at the oil injection lines?

That oil will be fine. It's always good to replace the little 3/32" oil lines from the pump to the intake manifold.

3/32" Tygon fuel line. Typically any lawnmower shop sells it ans so does Home Depot but it's in the plumbing/sprinkler fitting section not the mower section there.

Thanks again. I'll have to stop by Home Depot tomorrow and look. I'm having a hard time finding tygon fuel line on most websites.
