I have a 2002 Seadoo Islandia and in forward I can’t get it above 4500 RPM. Though when I put it in reverse I can get it up to 6800 RPM without a problem. Recently change the oil in the stater and in the gearbox. I also just changed and put on a brand new alternator, six new spark plugs, new battery. Accelerates up to 4500 RPM without any resistance or trouble. Starts and runs fine once in a while it will start rough and idle rough for about a minute. After running at about 4500 RPM for about 10 minutes the engine will bug down and shut off. You have to let it sit for about five minutes and hold open the throttlebody and I will start right back up. Has anybody incurred anything like this I have no idea what is going on
