we have stayed there before, its nice, the original tiki bar is there, and thats where the beach boys made that song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AHtQ4-WBkis and they made that drink the rumrunner -- also the bar rumrunners is right there, also we have stayed at harbor lights, just like a 5 minute walk from there, we used to walk to rumrunners from harbor lights, harbor lights has a boat ramp also, and only like 90.00 night .... if you are going there, best restaurant is whale harbor ... seafood is excellent -- buffet, has everything -- 30.00 a head ... also, breakfast -- mangrove mikes -- bad ass omelettes, you wont be able to see your plate --- islamorada is our favorite place in the keys -- dont eat at the bass proshop place -- it sucks ... if i can get some time off, may see you there ... i can drive to harbor lights in 5 1/2 hrs
