Is what is the white wire with black lines on the other side of bilge pump harness for?

I was wondering if anyone knows what the white wires I'm the same harness as the bilge pump Can we just connected together. It seems there for the float Switch but I have one in the pump. I'm configuring my boat for auto on And switchable. Can I just connect these 2 white wires with the black lines in them together ? Can't find the answer anywhere online. Hope someone can help.
