Is this a big deal

First, I want to say thanks for all the help you guys have given me so far.

I think my 1998 Speedster still had the original impellers on it as they were pretty chewed up (as were the wear rings). Since the left drive unit was in pieces when I bought the boat, I decided it would be best to replace them before re-assembly. Then, I decided the right drive unit was probably in similar shape so I decided to replace them too.

I ordered the OE Remanufactured impellers from SBT. The ones in my boat currently are both 271000816. SBT sent me a 271000774 and a 271000816. As far as I can tell, the only difference is that the 271000774 is quite a bit thinner on the trailing edge. I feel like I want to be running the same impeller on both sides. If my engines don't end up running equally (and they likely won't) I don't want to be wondering what they would be like with the same impeller. According to the chart on the internet, they were both used in 1998, its just that the 774 was for the GTX RFI. If they had different part numbers in 1998, they had to actually BE different didn't they? Wouldn't they have just used the same impeller for both platforms otherwise?

Am I making a big deal out of nothing? Are these two parts really interchangeable in spite of their slight differences?
