Is there such a thing as an 88 sea doo

I was looking at the summary of models on a link from this site that says they started making them in 89. However I have seen many people on here claiming to have a 1988. What is for real?

As far as I know, first sea-doo made was the 89 sp. Anyone feel free to correct me if im wrong....

Yes, the first Seadoo was built with the Rotax 587 engine in 1988. This will answer your question.

That link just takes me to a general history page. Is there another page on their site somewhere that shows the history of the sea doo's?

If yo click on the 1980 section it will show the 1988 sea doo just click on it and it will show you the info.
