Just like the title says. I found a gallon at Walmart and saw that it was suitable for aircooled and liquid cooled engines. It also states that it can be used in SKI-DOO Rotax carburated, RFI and DI 2 stroke engines. What it doesn't say is if it's api-tc certified or any certification for that matter, BUT it does say not to use where a tc-w3 oil is reccomended from the manufacturer. Thoughts?

See that doesn't make any sense. It can be used in a carbed, di or rfi model. An 800 rfi in a snowmobile or ski is still an 800.

Sorry I don't understand the question. This is full synthetic it can be used in any SeaDoo it is required for a SeaDoo with RAVE valves. If your ski doesn't have RAVE valves ie 720 or smaller you can use a synthetic blend or a mineral oil. If the ski is carbed or fuel injected make no difference.

Maybe I mis-understood the question exactly what oil did you buy? You've been around here for a while, actually longer than me. What oil have you been using?

Sorry about the missunderstanding. I've been using the xp-s 2 but finding it is getting harder and harder. The oil that I purchased is a full synthetic that can be used in ski-doo Rotax engines that are either carbed, RFI or DI. the 800R engine in ski-doos have RAVE valves and it also says it can be used in engines with power valves and non power valve engines. I'm figuring since it's a seasonal thing with Ski-Doos(winter) that it was just a rebadged oil. It comes in the same black bottle you posted but it shows a snowmobile instead.

I just went to the garage and read what's on the back of the bottle, it says nothing about snowmobiles (we're a little far south for snowmobiles so I guess I never noticed). But yes, if it's full synthetic and API-TC certified use it.

Well XP-S 2 is certified for snowmobiles and other brands that claim they are suitable for brp products have to meet requirements so I think I might try it.

stay with seadoo xps fully synthetic, you can order that at parker yamaha and have it shipped to your place to be safe.

Ok, After much searching I found the MSDA sheets on both the PWC and the Snowmobile Full Synthetic oils. Everything on both data sheets were exactly the same, Even the revision date was the same. The Composition of the oil was exactly the same. I also found a .pdf of all the Quicksilver marine oils including color pics. I think some people are getting confused on the Premium and Premium Plus, Semi Synthetic and Full Synthetic oil. Here is the link to the msda sheets.---> http://wwwarchive.mercurymarine.com/quicksilver2?makePrintable=1

This is the Mercury Marine brochure with pics.http://www.parker.com.pl/pliki-en/oleje.pdf
