is it worth it?

Hey guys

Im just wondering i have a 92 Xp, and i need a new motor and other misc parts, after i buy all the parts it will be close to $1500!. im just wondering if it would be worth it to put that much money into it. i got good idea's to make it look like a newer ski but i just wanted to see what u guys think.

can't purchase a new one for 1500 buks...if its for recreational, just get'n wet, then yah...but, doesn't bother you if your in water or not, then..?

well the ski aint gonna be worth more than the 1500 u plan on putting into it.. depends on if u think your gonna want to sell it later or not.. you could prolly pick up a good running ski of the same year or possibly newer fro around 1500 or so.. i jsut found on craigslist a guy selling a 96 xp for 1750 in great shape and all.. so thats your call.. maybe u have some kind of special bond with the 92 ..lol

well, i like my ski lots and if my idea's work it will look pretty cool, so im thinking il just keep it and make it the nicest looking 92 xp on the water. not that theres many out there but still would be pretty cool!
