So I have a 97 seadoo speedster twin 717s I live in Vegas still warm as hell outside, I might squeeze in couple more weekend trips but when season is over what is needed to be done to the boat so when I take it out in spring I won't have issues. My boat is garage kept and we don't have freezing Temps out here, gets cold but nothing crazy, nothing below 40 degrees.
I have bought a trickle charger
I've read about putting stabil in the fuel, should I be draining the fuel?
Any input helps.

Thanks all

In my humble opinion, If you run the boat with Stabil for the day, the last day, and the boat is parked just 6 months or less, I would not drain it. If you have gas valves I would run the motor the last time with the gas valve closed to drain the fuel from the carb as overkill, and call it done.

Your Mileage may vary, I am also interested in what others may think.

I never drain my fuel. When I lived up north I started using Stabil 3 months before my anticipated storage. I did this as life happens. I have had to store my skis 3 months before I would normally do so.

did you fog the engines?

In my early life I didn't. Now that I am in Florida I do pretty much nothing short of changing oil once a year.

I do pre and post ride maintenance, but no winterizing any more.

I just stable the gas and spray some fogging oil in the engine. Since I keep mine in a heated garage at 50 don't need to do much winterizing. I keep the engine hatch up to to make sure it is all dried out. Make sure to remove the battery to maintain it unless you have a battery shut off. Never change it when its hooked up. Bad things happen to the MPEMs. The marine stable is good for 12 months..

I've read about fogging....is that needed, it's pretty dry out here.

I thought fogging was for the cold.

fogging should be done for any long term non-usage regardless of temperature. "long term" has a different meaning depending on who you are talking to. 1 week to 6 months.

I'd say 2 to 3 weeks of sitting it's good to fog. It's probably the easiest maintenance you'll ever do.
