How do you prepare your boat for a storm like this?
Mine is on the trailer, next to the house.
I removed the bimini poles and put them in the garage. Same with the cover, I figure it fill just get ripped off in the wind and it does not stop water from getting in it anyway.

Just some ideas.....
I would unscrew your drain plugs and tilt the trailer just a bit towards the back. Not too much, you don't want the wind catching the bow and flipping it. Can you tie the tongue to the ground?

Put the boat in the garage and leave a car out.....????

Garage was filled with lawn furniture.
I ended up just backing it up close to the house and parking the truck right up next to it. That blocked the Northeast and Northwest winds, which were the worst. The Southwest winds will come later but will be weaker.

Woke up this morning and it is still there and fine. Gonna go down and see how the river looks.
Normal river guage is 8 feet near the ramp. It is over 16 feet now.
The flow over the low-head dam is normally about 1,600 cubic feet per second. It is now running at 57,100.
Even if the rain stops, I don't think I will be launching it today :)
