Thanks in advance to any one who can help. I bought a Challenger 2000 in the fall with a blown up Merc 240. I rebuilt it over the winter and just last weekend dropped it into the boat (finally!) I got all the oil and gas lines and throttle cable hooked up fine but I'm having a little trouble with the main wire harness. The big plug is a no brainer but the lead coming from the boat has 4 more single wires coming off. When i bought the boat the motor was already out so i didnt see what all was hooked up. The manual i have says to just tape off 3 of them and hook up one. The wiring diagram later on has two hooked up. Does any one have a pic of theirs they could post so i can see exactly what i should have? Hoping to get it in the water this weekend. Thanks!

I can't remember off hand and the boat is at the cottage but I remember a grey wire, a purple wire, and a green with white stripe wire. I can't recall the colour of the fourth one. Thanks Dr. H!

I know there are a few wires that aren't used... so it's probably what you are seeing. (They are for extra gauges)

I'm going to be tied up today... but I will try to get under my cover tomorrow, and post a pic.
