I want to install an hour meter in my 2006 SeaDoo Sportster, not a Speedster. It is a black, yellow and white edition. I want it to work only when the engine is running, not when I plug in the lanyard. Is there a specific wire in the engine wiring harness to connect the positive wire from the meter too the harness? I don't want to connect the lead wire to one of the injector wires for fear that it will take some of the amps away and cause a problem. Someone suggested connecting the lead wire to the coil, but the coil has consistant power going to it. Anybody have suggestions?
