Doing research before/if we buy our next jet boat.
I really like the rear facing spotter seat that Seadoo had in the Speedsters from 97 and up. I really want the speed control that the 2012 has. Been looking at low hour 2012 150s. Anyone have issues with the speed control/ITC?
I see that Scarab has suggested seating for five, but that is all in the cockpit = not using the rear facing swim platform/transom seats.
Has anyone been in the 165 as a spotter?
How did that work out?
Were you sitting on the port side seat/sunpad?
TIA
Robert

I have the 2012 Speedster HO. I can tell you that the only part of the ITC that I use is cruise control and it works perfectly. I have tested out docking mode and ECO mode and, while they work, they just aren't something I use. I would guess that the Scarab has the same speed control settings since the dash looks very similar. It all comes down to what style of boat you want and if you want gently used or brand new.
