I have yet to find any decent info on the selection of skat trak impellers for our '96 speedster. Does anyone know where to get them from and what to expect to pay for them? What is the correct pitch for each prop or should I change to 2 of the same picth. I'm not concerned with losing a few on the top end but would like an improved holeshot and overall better performance. I just can't believe I can't find any substantiated info on this subject and it's the part of the drivetrain that actually makes it "GO".:willy_nilly:

Go to Skat-Trak's web site to get the part numbers. As I recall... they recommend 2 of the same impellers. Since they are the same as the ski impellers... once you know the pitch... you can look on ebay for a used set. I got the one in my Sportster for about $60, and it was new, old stock.
Well, after doing an extensive search, there really aint a whole lot out there. The only thing I could find was from Impros and they're aroound $241.00 ea. Just for eveyone interested; Skat Tarak recommends a 14.5/22.5 pitch (140mm pump) for a 96 speedster. Both props the same. I would love for someone to chime in that have done the upgrade to say whether it's worth it or not. I suspect it's not as there would be much more info out there with the speedsters.
