Impeller tool way too Big

Part number is for factory impellers. I have a feeling your impellers are not OEM and would probably require a tool made from the same manufacturer of the impeller you're currently running.

I considered that too but the replacements I ordered are straight oem from the local dealership. Came in Sea-Doo boxes with labels. They are the same size as what’s currently installed as well. I’ll take one in today & see if the dealer has one that will fit it & hopefully get to return the part that is too big some guys on the 4tec forum on fb said I need a WR011 tool so I ordered one on amazon & hopefully one way or the other I will get the right one so I can get back out on the water.

The tool should be the same, otherwise the shafts would have been changed also and that is not likely. Get the OEM part number from your dealer or the parts suppliers at the top of the page and cross reference it to be sure. Did you try an impeller on your shaft to be sure they are correct?

Are the shafts different between the 155 and 215 HP models? I thought I read where the pumps are different between the SC'd and non SC'd motors. Maybe that's the issue? I have the factory impeller tool and it works fine our 210 SE with the twin 215s.

Jpass I believe you are right. I’ve read that too & what I read seems consistent with the manual shot you posted. I just haven’t seen in the manual where it specified a different size impeller tool so that is the hang up.

When you look up the driveshaft part numbers between the 215 and 155 HP motors, you will find they are different, which tells me they are not the same (just not sure what the differences are).

215 HP part nbr: 204120284
155 HP part nbr: 271001534

There are 2 different sizes.
It's simple, he bought the wrong tool.He needs the smaller one.

Just buy it from your dealer. I'm sure they'll give you your money back for the wrong one.

Thank you Chester! That manual image is exactly what I have been missing! Now I have a part # for the dealer. Thanks again.

I took a shot on amazon on the WR011 (solas) and it was perfect fit for my 155 impeller and about $30 bucks cheaper than dealer. the picture of the item is incorrect but it came as described. i reviewed it and posted a picture of the actual item in the review for reference. It was prime when i bought it but today the link says it is not available for prime so it must come and go with that. I had also ordered the BRP tool and the dealer is refunding me the original tool minus shipping since they wont keep it in stock at their store. turns out no one here does their own impellers, Yamaha, and Kawasaki dealers told me the same thing.
