Impeller Size Question

I have a 2012 Speedster 150 SC Wake (255) since new (38hrs ...lol) I'm now getting some cavatation and have lost about 5 mph so I'm ready to change out my impeller/wear ring
What size is the impeller? I"m think its a 15/20 .....but not sure (thats the size on the Scarab BRP 250 engines)

Hi, I have the same boat

The local seadoo dealer pulled mine out and said it is a 12/21 in the pitch gauge. We have replaced with a 14/18 Skat three blade and the boat is so much better.

I'm weighted down with the wake tower, etc.... so it's been right at 57 mph and shot out of the hole like a rocket.
Now I have to baby it to plain and topping out at 53 mph. 7900- 8000 rpms.

Are you sure it was 12/21, not 15/21. 15/21 seems to be what I'm now seeing for replacement. So if thats true you should of gained 200 to 400 rpms with your 14/18. Just wondering to make heads or tails out of this. Thanks

Yes I'm sure, before we knew, we (I have two mates with the same boat) imported a 15/20 solas impeller and it was horrible out of the hole, with the 14/18 Skat I get better out of the hole and hit 59/60 mph top speed.

Sort of off topic, but any and all 2012 Speedster 150's HO are 260HP not 255.

Since we're talk'n impellers, I have an '08 150. What is the stock pitch? I didn't see it in the Manual. What is the most pitch anyone has run on a Speedster? and how hard it is to "just swap out" an impeller? At 3k' I can do about 47-48 according to the GPS with 2 people and full tank. Doing about 7k RPMs.

A mate has a 06 215hp and it's a 11/19, we put in a Solas 14/19 and it's a big improvement
