Trying to get the impeller off my 2002 Islandia. Thing won't budge. I bought the impeller tool. These are normal threads aren't they? Got a cheater pipe on it and it still won't budge. Any suggestions?

Yep... normal threads.

If you run in salt water... it's probably just rusted a bit. Spray it with PB Blaster, and let it soak overnight. ALSO... it's tight. As I recall... it gets torqued to 150 Lb/ft. You will need a large breaker to get it to move.

I had my 1/2 inch, very long torque wrench but had to turn to a pneumatic wrench to loosen the nut off then go back to the torque wrench.

The prop had loctite on it. I had to take a propane torch and heat it up. Finally, it broke loose. Thanks.
