Folks,

I caught a dock deck board in my impeller.
I've had this issue before with a tube rope, but never a piece of wood.

I know very little about these boats, so please be kind.

I've attached photos of the situation. Can anyone tell me if the impeller is damaged and needs replacing?

Thank-you,

I would say, dig it out of there carefully and give it a go. I had a similar experience with a rock pile last summer. The leading edges could probably use some love at some point, but if you can get the wood out, it may work fine for the season.

Your leading edges are pretty beat up. If it were mine, I'd dig it out and order a replacement impeller. Swap them out and send yours in to be re-worked and have it as a spare.
