Impeller for 240 merc

Ok I've had the boat a couple years and the cavitaion just gets worse. So, after much research I found that I will need the Prop reconditioned, wear ring bored and lined w/ SS and have the stator fins recondioned. Any Tips on how to get all that stuff off with minimal hassel. I understand the prop stays when the housing is pulled will a 1"13/16 socket take the nut off easily? How do refill it with oil? Has any one had the whole thing done at impros? What did it all cost?

I am currently waiting on getting back my ring and impeller from Impros. I think it was like $150 for the Impeller and $350 for the ring. I should be getting the final bill today or tomorrow and I will let you know.

125 for the impeller, 450 for the wear ring and 175 for the pump.
