Impeller check

Guys,

I'm giving a used 2008 Challenger 180 consideration for purchase. The seller sent me this attached photo of the Impeller. Its a difficult shot to photograph and I find it kind of difficult to determine condition. Nothing looks brutally tore up as best I can see.....Your thoughts?

I've seen worse...if it's a good price get it. It won't hamper performance too much.

Nope… Looks good to me. You can see the leading edge on the right side of the picture… and I don’t see any nicks… and the ring looks good. If the boat looks as good as the impeller… go get it!!

is there a small groove wore in the ring? it kinda looks like it but i cant tell if its a groove or just a shadow. looks like youd be able to feel if it is.

I see what your talking about and I'm not sure either. I'm going to make the trip next weekend to Sea Trial it. Proof is in the pudding. If the boat jumps up and goes high 40's(gps) and also hits the upper 7000's in RPMs the boat will probably be coming home with me.
