Hey everyone i just wen through my first wear ring and am taking on the project of fixing it myself as I’m trying to learn how to do my own maintenance on my ski
The ski is a 2001 rx
After taking off the jet pump from the reverse gate and the vts and inspecting the wear ring it’s visibly shaven quite far down and is cracked and missing the front black plastic lip
I went to try and turn the impeller to see how much axial play there is and the impeller still moves left and right but seems as if it’s catching on something or suddenly stopping anyone know what this could be ? Any help is greatly appreciated!
