Folks, I was recently presented with a 91 Seadoo SP and a 92 SeaDoo XP for nothing...The deal was, if I can get them running, they're mine.
Well getting them running was simple.
Put them in the water, and after a couple trial runs with the SP, it's coming out of the hole and planing, very nicely...
The XP is another issue. It tachs up no problem, but there's a vibration in this that is not in the SP, and although water is coming out of the back (It steers OK)...there's now "get up and go"...more throttle only results in more vibration.
I'm new at these, and although I think it's the impeller, I cannot confirm before I go spending.
Anybody help with confirmation, or other things I should be looking at?
In short, the motor and steering work fine, it's just the propulsion system I think?
Cheers
Hoss
