Just put the sleds away this last weekend. Despite the bad winter it was a good season overall. Time to get the new to me jet skis out and start going through them.

Glad your back!.. Wish I could get a skidoo but here in Florida its a little to warm for that

Yeah that was one hack winter...
Ive still got my sled out.. for REPAIRS that is.. I hit a tree my last trip out. Almost ready to go back together. Just about time to bust out the pwc! As soon as the sleds away.. I got some things I would like for it too this spring.

I think a smowmobile is the one thrill I've not been able to have. I've watched them on the tube, racing and most of all, takin them out over a short run on the water. They look cool skeeting across the water but when one sinks, it makes my stomach turn. I know that a bunch of money just bit the dust (or should I say drink).

When I was up in Brunswick Maine, I thought I was going to get to rent one. We got snow but the renters wouldn't let them out because there was still patches of rock around. But this ole dixie boy did learn how to snow ski at Sugarloaf Mountain. Then, for a real thrill, went out to Oregon and skied Mt. Hood. Now that's a mountain!!!!!

On another note; I took the GTX out today. I was only going out to run the motor, look for some leaks or anything that might need attention. Well, needless to say, my 8 year old daughter saw me hooking it up to the truck. She could not understand that "daddy" was only going out to check the motor out. So, it ended up being an afternoon of her driving down the river hollering "ya-hoo"........... I'm worried by the time she's 10, she'll be trying to ditch the ole man so she can go and do with it what she wants, not what I want. But, all in all, the ski ran great. I do have a pesky water leak around the top of the tuned pipe though. I'll fix it tomorrow. Hopefully, I can sneak it out for a test run and wont' have to spend the afternoon on the river....
