I saw this demonstrated a few months ago. It seemed pretty awesome but for one thing.......your tethered.
It's like the difference between snow sking and water skiing. Snow skiing, you can go where you want, slow down and wait on a buddy or just anything. When your skiing behind the boat, your at the mercy of the driver and the boat. You have no choice but to follow them.
This water jet pack is the same. Your limited to a very short tether connected to a water pump at the bottom of the hose. I don't remember all the specifics but I don't think you can climb much higher than 50 feet or so.
I'd love to try it but like Pough said, the price tag for just being able to go up and down and arond in a tight circle just isn't worth that huge price tag.:cheers:
