Ignition Module

I have a guy working on my 1994 Seadoo XP and we know that we have an electrical issue and we think we have the solution can someone help, the part we are looking for is the ignition module it is supposed to control the time and fire to the motor, can anyone verify or let me know of a test procedure any help would be better than we have now i have talked with the boat and seadoo shop here in town and he cant find the answer he has never even seen the part before. Please help i really dont want to have to trash this ski i have put alot of time and cosmetic work into it. Thanks Joseph!!!:confused::confused::confused::ack:
 
MPEM You would remove the Multi Purpose Electrical Module from the gray box.
Then you would use an electrical Multimeter to check the ohms to determine if the
mpem is toast. usually the
black ring and red ring terminal test is most important. All connectors have to be
unplugged to test the item. If good,I would do the stator test, as the mpem gets its
ground from the stator.
