Trying to remove & recover the two armrests for the rear seats (# 22-23 & 57-58 in the picture attached).
From the diagram & sticking my head up under as best I can, it looks like there's a screwed-in plate mounted vertically & a pin of some sort up at the top that I am not sure how to remove/free-up. Anyone done this?
Do I need to remove the oil tank on the port side?

There are bolts from the underside. All you can do is reach up, and feel for the bolts. When I did my boat... I actually had to get my neighbor's wife to do it for me. (she has long thin arms) There was no way I was going to reach them.

FYI... they are 10mm heads.

Yep 10mm bolts, one per side, hard to access. I just did mine but my engines are out of the boat so had room to get in the hull. Worst case leave them off and put velcro under the armrest when you re-install.

The 10mm is great info! Is your neighbor's wife busy this weekend? ;)

I jut removed the back armrests from my Challenger 1800. I pulled out as I pushed up. There were no bolts that had to be removed internally. The vertical pins come off and stay on the armrests. The riveted bracket stays on the hull.
